Purpose

Texas Global seeks a methodical and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with data and can quickly learn department protocol. This position will focus on the evaluation of current methodologies to improve processes that gather, prepare, transform, maintain, analyze, interpret, and report on large amounts of data generated by Texas Global, with an emphasis on documentation.

Responsibilities

Data Management & Documentation : Collect, clean, prepare, and document data from various institutional sources; propose and document new protocols. Analysis & Reporting : Analyze data, generate reports with recommendations, and create clear documentation for data requests and reports.

Collaboration & Special Projects : Work with Texas Global units, assist with data requests for leadership, develop data collection schedules, and maintain Tableau dashboards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and three years of clerical experience, including one year of experience at either the Administrative Assistant or the Administrative Associate level, or high school graduation or GED, and seven years of clerical experience. 1-2+ years of data analysis experience with complex datasets. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, R, and Tableau. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working in a university environment. Proven experience in working with large datasets. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SQL, R, and Tableau.

Hourly Rate

$20.00

Attire : Business Casual

Standard Office Environment, Repetitive use of keyboard at a workstation.

Hours per week - 20 - Monday through Friday
