Job description

Material Handler

Our client, a healthcare provider, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be supporting healthcare facility operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Location : Marquette, MI

Pay Range : $17.41 per Hour

Shift : M-F 30 hours per week, 1 weekend per month

What's the Job?

  • Disinfect and distribute medical equipment in a large facility.
  • Interact with various departments to prioritize delivery schedules.
  • Clean equipment using designated cleaners or bleach products.
  • Ensure daily cleaning and disinfecting assignments are completed and provide support as needed.
  • Log into tracking systems, run and read par level reports, and walk equipment carts through the facility.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's degree preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours (up to 30 hours / week, MF + 1 weekend / month); orientation and 1 training day required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
