WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

• No holidays but weekends are optional

• Procedures Scheduling Schedules surgeries, appointments, tests, and procedures specific to their physician practice in person or by phone, using Electronic Health Record; scans procedure packets into the EMR; coordinates external vendors, multiple physicians, and surgery locations as required.

• Scheduling System Management Maintains the scheduling system including maintain physician-specific schedules and coordinating with schedulers at the surgery site for time and physician-specific preferences. Verifies records are accurate and complete.

• Insurance Coordination Coordinates insurance including verification of coverage, obtaining prior authorizations and educating the patient on benefits and out of pocket amounts.

• Patient Education Calls patients to provide date/time of procedure, educates on prep needed for the particular procedure, and reviews medication requirements for the procedure.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required High School Diploma/GED

• 1 year Physician Office Required
