NSC Staffing has immediate Machine Set-up opportunities in Pewaukee, WI!

Shift :   2nd shift

Pay :   $24-30 / hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities :

• Set up, check routine programs, operate, and adjust automatic or semi-automatic numerically controlled machine tools and / or CNC machining equipment to perform standard or repetitive operations within close tolerances and finish requirements.
• Identify appropriate tooling and fixture applications, and work with proven program formats.
• Follow detailed part drawings and specifications regarding applications, coding, arrangements, and settings.
• Note and report any variations from specifications.
• Assist, under supervision, with program prove-outs for new work or critical variations.
• Recommend tooling arrangements, fixtures, and operation sequences when necessary.
• Complete setups and provide guidance to Machine Operators with less experience on established programs.
• Use a variety of precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
