Responsibilities Hospital setting in the Surgical Services department Position involves both circulating and scrub roles in the Operating Room Performs orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, ENT, and interventional pain management procedures Weekday day shift with option of five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days Uses Cerner EMR; prior Cerner experience required Lead and oversee the perioperative team to facilitate patient throughput Coordinate staffing and ensure efficient surgical schedule management Act as a preceptor and assist in orienting new staff members Perform a combination of direct patient care and administrative functions Assist in maintaining, developing, and enhancing surgical efficiencies Responsible for creating and revising surgical preference cards Work closely with the Surgical Services Manager and administration team Gastroenterology / Endoscopy experience is preferred but not required Requirements Active Colorado or compact RN license in good standing Minimum two years of Operating Room nursing experience Minimum two years of leadership experience in a surgical services setting Current certifications : BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS CNOR and CRNFA certifications preferred Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and electronic health records Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-631114.
