Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education teaching position is available at an elementary school in Laurens, SC, for the uping school year (August 1, 2025, through May 30, 2026). This opportunity involves working collaboratively within a team of three core Special Education teachers to provide tailored instructional support to students. The role offers a dynamic environment where educators bine direct instruction, supplemental instruction, and co-teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction based on students individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with a team of Special Education teachers to divide student caseloads effectively.
• Employ varied instructional strategies including co-teaching and supplementary support within general education classrooms.
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust instructional approaches accordingly.
• municate regularly with parents, staff, and administration regarding student performance and needs.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.

Qualifications :

This assignment is full-time with a 37.5-hour workweek and is structured as a contract for the 20252026 school year.
