Position Overview The
Communications Specialist III supports the Communications & Public Affairs (C&PA) Center of Excellence by developing high-quality, enterprise-ready content across multiple channels. This role is ideal for an experienced communicator skilled in writing, editing, content planning, and partnering across large, complex organizations.
You will lead the creation of executive and employee communications, manage editorial calendars, maintain messaging resources, and help shape the company's storytelling approach using innovative digital tools and formats.
Key Responsibilities Content Development- Produce compelling content for web, social media, email, print, video, and internal storytelling.
- Write, edit, and refine content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
- Develop executive-level communications and employee-focused messages.
- Internal stories, External articles, Executive communications, Â proprietary social posts
Editorial & Calendar Management- Manage and maintain the corporate editorial calendar.
- Lead and document recurring content planning meetings.
- Maintain messaging guides, glossaries, and terminology assets.
Content Strategy & Optimization- Conduct content audits to identify gaps, opportunities, and improvements.
- Apply performance insights to enhance content quality and audience reach.
- Explore new storytelling formats, digital tools, and communication channels.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Support- Work closely with social media and brand creative teams to ensure cohesive storytelling.
- Support crisis communications and digital signage when needed.
- Build strong relationships with internal partners to source stories, updates, and communication needs.
Required Qualifications- U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of enterprise-level communications experience
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Fluency across digital, written, and verbal communication formats
- Experience using Canva, SharePoint, and Monday.com (or similar tools)
- Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms (e.g., Copilot, Axios HQ)
- Strong ability to multitask and work under deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, Marketing, English, Digital Media, or related field
- Experience in video scripting, shooting, and editing
- Graphic design or presentation development experience
- Background in measuring and optimizing integrated communication programs
- Strong creative, strategic, and organizational judgment
- Ability to work independently and across diverse teams
