Structural Engineer

STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Seeking Structural Engineers responsible for conceptual estimates, preliminary design and final design on industrial capital projects at existing plants.

• Design task could include modifications to existing structures, foundations and paving/drainage features (catch basins, sumps, containment areas, etc.).
• May be responsible for generating material estimates and track quantity changes over life of project.
• Experience in the design of structural steel multi-level process structures and pipe racks per AISC 360, equipment and structural foundations to ACI 318 and conceptual design work for estimating project costs.

Experience/Skills

• BS in Civil Engineering
• 5-12 years of experience structural engineering on industrial type projects including minimum 5 years of revamp type experience.
• Minimum 5 years of revamp experience.
• Proficient in STAADPro, MAT3D and Microsoft Excel.
• Candidates should be able to demonstrate an aptitude for solving non-standard design problems, be able to work with a variety of client requirements and work processes and be able to manage workload to meet client delivery expectations.
