Travel Nurse RN - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit - $2,722 per week in Bismarck, ND

Job Title : RN - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Inpatient Pediatrics - PICU Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Nights Hours per Shift : 12 hours (1830-0700) Experience : Minimum 1 year required License : Required Certifications : BLS, PALS Must-Have : Ability to manage patients in the PICU and on the general pediatric floor. Description : Looking for a Pediatric RN who can take an assignment in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Candidate must be able to manage continuous nebulizers, BiPAP, and patients on insulin drips for DKA. When not in the PICU, the RN will need to take assignments on the general pediatric floor managing 3-4 patients. The unit has computerized charting utilizing an EMR system. The nurse-to-patient ratio in the PICU is 1 : 1 or 1 : 2, while on the general pediatric floor it is 1 : 3 or 1 : 4. Successful candidates will also float to other units if necessary, including NICU and OB. The dress code is navy scrubs, with an option to wear a child-friendly colorful scrub top. Travelers will typically receive orientation shifts. Please note that this position involves working every other weekend and holiday. Nursing professionals are required to badge in and out of the facility. All clinicians must comply with unit protocols and guidelines.
