Job descriptionNight Shift. 3x12 : 7pm - 7 : 30am. Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications. Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse. Educates patients on surgical procedures. Records patients’ medical information and vital signs. Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays. Initiates corrective action whenever the patient. WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Medical Surgical Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Community Hospital in Rochester, NY. Travelers can earn up to $2,320 per week for this role.

Job Requirements :
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Current Registered Nurse license in the state (or willingness to obtain).
2 years of experience as a Medical-Surgical / Vent Registered Nurse required.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
ACLS certification.
