Description :

This is a contract position for an RN specializing in CVOR / Surgery.

The role requires call availability as needed.

The unit has a total of 14 operating rooms, including 2 designated for heart surgeries.

There are approximately 90 staff members on this unit.

The day shift typically includes 1 charge nurse, 16 RNs, and 16 technicians.

The night shift consists of 2 RNs and 2 technicians.

Patient ratios will vary based on unit needs.

The unit uses Meditech as the electronic medical record system.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of scrub or circulating experience.

Preferred candidates will have experience in robotics, neuro, ortho, and trauma.

Procedures performed include general, GYN, neuro, ortho, plastics, vascular, ENT, and urology.

A flexible and positive attitude is essential for success in this role.

Scrubs are provided and the required color is ciel blue.

This unit has received recognition as a Unit of Distinction award winner three times.
