Fabrication Specialist

Job Title : Fabrication Specialist

Duration : 6 Months

Location : New Orleans, LA

Shift Expectations : First 6 AM - 2 PM (second shift may become an option during assignment 2 pm-10 : 30 pm)

Summary :

Looking for resources with basic mechanical experience and electrical experience. These resources will be working with various tools, including power drills, adhesives, wrenches, etc. The team will train these resources within the areas they will be working on. Training can last up to 3-4 weeks, depending on the level of experience they are coming in with.

Responsibilities :

• Performs machine set-up, machining, wiring, and electrical setup and checks.
• Assembles, repairs, modifies, and installs wire harnesses and avionics products.
• Prepares test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices to perform various tests.
• Performs basic mechanical and electrical preparation tasks and verification.

Education : High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
