Join Our Team as a Lead Maintenance Technician!

Are you a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to fixing things? Do you have a knack for troubleshooting and problem-solving? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you at Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Southwest in Sioux Falls, SD!

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure all repairs and preventive maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other hotel equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory levels through QUORE
Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs and projects
Frequent bending, stooping, lifting of 50 lbs, snow removal, mowing and weed trimming

Qualifications :

Prior experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a hospitality environment

Strong technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance

Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs
