Anesthesiology Physician

Location : Berlin, VT

Facility Type : Level III Trauma Center

Start Date : ASAP (Preference for long-term locum)

Contract Type : Locum Tenens

Schedule & Call :

Weekdays : Monday Friday, 7 : 00 AM 3 : 00 PM

Call Shifts : 24-hour call (first 10 hours in-house, remainder home call)

Weekend Call : Home call rotation with 20-minute response time

EMR : Epic

Clinical Scope :

Daily Volume : 4 5 procedures / day (up to 10 on cataract days)

Case Mix Includes :

Ortho (regional anesthesia)

OB (spinal / epidural)

Central & arterial line placement

Airway management

Team Structure :

Solo practice on non-call days

Medical direction of CRNAs & AAs on call days

Occasional senior anesthesia resident support

Weekday support from surgical team & anesthesia techs

Requirements :

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS

License : Active Vermont license (Required); must be able to obtain temporary privileges quickly
