Back of House Manager
Working as a Back of the House Manager, you are responsible for all activities in the back of the unit for the account. You will provide leadership and direction to the utility and culinary team including hiring, training, developing, coaching, and counseling.
Key Responsibilities :
- Adheres to HACCP guidelines to ensure efficient, safe, and sanitary food production, purchasing, receiving, food storage, and facility maintenance
- Provides leadership and direction to the utility and culinary team including hiring, training, developing, coaching, and counseling
- Oversees inventory, ordering / purchasing, food cost controls, training, and sanitation
Preferred Qualifications :
Degree in Culinary Arts is preferred or equivalent professional experienceMinimum of three years of progressive culinary / kitchen management experienceHigh volume purchasing, food storage, inventory control, and sanitation experienceSelf-starter and ability to multitaskKnowledge of safe and sanitary food handling principlesAbility to lift, bend, carry up to 40 lbs., manage proper storage of food items as necessaryStrong supervisory, leadership, hands-on management, and coaching skillsGood communication skills both written and verbalProficient computer skills to include; various computer programs, Microsoft Office programs, email, and the InternetStrong financial, budgetary, and food cost control practicesConformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behaviorServSafe or Department of Health certification a plusAssociates at Mazzone are offered many fantastic benefits.
