We are looking to hire an Infant / Toddler Teacher for our early learning program in Calumet City. The Infant / Toddler Teacher will foster self-esteem, self-confidence, develop competence in self-help skills and those inner controls and language abilities necessary for effective social interaction. We provide a warm nurturing environment that promotes development in all areas; physical, cognitive, social / emotional, and language.

Main Responsibilities

• Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
• Ability to develop individual goals for children, provide on-going assessment on progress and facilitate transition into our 3-5 year old program.
• Will promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of Infant / Toddler children.
• Teachers will maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment.
• With the help of the teacher's assistant, complete and submit required forms and records in a timely and accurate fashion, e.g., lesson plans, time sheets, meal reports etc.
• Perform other duties, as may be required.
