This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day shifts, Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM or 9 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM, with potential for varying hours and alternating weekend shifts.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Skilled Home Health Nurse with infusion experience to provide high-quality care to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home health care, particularly with OASIS training and experience in managing complex patient conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cardiopulmonary assessments and basic wound care.
- Perform ABI compression dressing and wound vac dressing changes.
- Manage Pleurx / Aseptdrain care and execute foley catheter changes and care.
- Carry out staple / suture removal, use glucometers, and perform lab draw venipunctures.
- Administer SQ / IM injections and provide IV skills, including PICC line or Midline care.
- Document patient care effectively using designated charting systems.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary support teams, including Physical Therapy, Social Services, and Pharmacy.
