The primary responsibilities are managing the department wide Property Control and Fleet Management Program, this position will also serve as a backup and support resource for additional critical procurement functions including Procurement, RFP, and Contract management, Procurement Card Oversite and Risk Assessment, FEMA and Grant Management. This position manages assets that support essential public safety and correctional operations. The work you do has a direct impact on people's lives and on taxpayer trust. By keeping fleet and property records accurate, ensuring contracts and grants meet compliance standards, and stepping in when cross-functional support is needed, you'll help maintain the integrity of programs that touch every corner of the agency. You'll also gain exposure to high-level decision-making, learn how to identify and correct systemic issues, and collaborate across multiple units. Minimum Qualifications :
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION : Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
Designation as a Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB), a Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO), or a National Institute of Governmental Purchasing Certified Procurement Professional (NIGP-CPP) will substitute for a maximum of one year of the required experience.
