A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity : RN - PCU Job Details : Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM 13-week assignment length 1 : 4 patient ratio Must maintain Alaska RN license for submission Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, advanced EKG Telemetry experience required - candidates without this skill will not be considered Cardiovascular background preferred Experience with simple drips preferred Rotating weekend schedule required Float to ICU and COVID unit as needed Work with equipment including telemetry monitors, bedside monitors, defibrillator machines, Alaris pumps, Kangaroo pumps, CT equipment, pacer wires, and pacing boxes Use Epic EMR system Perform procedures including TEE and cardioversion Dress code requires Caribbean blue scrubs Work on 34-bed Progressive Care Unit / Cardiac Stepdown / Telemetry unit Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 9-11 nurses, and 2 aides; night shift includes 1 charge nurse and 7-9 nurses Team-oriented environment with easy-going personality preferred Facility : This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive 34-bed Progressive Care Unit specializing in cardiac stepdown and telemetry services. The facility maintains a team of approximately 60 staff members including RNs and CNAs, providing around-the-clock patient care with advanced cardiac monitoring capabilities.
