divh2Postdoctoral Fellow/h2pDr. Ahna Pai in the Center for Biobehavioral Health (CBH) seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow to partner with faculty in the formulation, development, and implementation of research in the area of pediatric oncology, hematopoietic stem cell or solid organ transplantation. The CBH conducts research on topics related to pediatric health including regimen self-management and adherence, nutrition, pain, neurodevelopment and coping and adjustment in the context of diagnosis and treatment./ppThe Postdoctoral Fellow will be integral to maintaining the strong collaborative reputation of CBH through ensuring the integrity of research study design, data collection, management, analysis, and dissemination./ppConducts research, designs experiments, analyzes data, and presents findings under the mentorship of an established RI principal investigator or Senior Research Scientists. Appointment is a maximum of 7 years in length./ppEssential Functions:/pulliDesigns experiments, develops protocols, and conducts research under the guidance of a faculty mentor./liliAssists in the training and supervision of technical support staff in performing specific techniques essential to carrying out the research program./liliRecords and analyzes data generated by the research study. Assists in the development of hypotheses for further investigation from the results of the studies performed./liliAssists with the preparation of scientific and technical papers for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
