The role you'll contribute :
Manages the administrative aspects of the residency and / or fellowship program(s) as outlined by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), and / or other accrediting body requirements within the purview of their authority as appropriate. Acts as the subject matter expert for the Program Director, residents, program faculty and other program staff regarding accreditation standards and institutional policies and procedures. Oversees the daily activities of the residency program office, including planning, preparation, and execution of program functions and activities and reports the Residency Program Supervisor. Coordinates human resource activities for residents and faculty including orientation, contracting, progressive discipline and graduation. Provides administrative support to the Program Director, Residents and Fellows, Program Faculty, and rotating residents / students as necessary. May act as an internal liaison between the program and other departments within the hospital and to external entities. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Acts as primary GME administrative liaison between primary clinical teaching site and sponsoring institution's GME office for site-specific operations, including onboarding, orientation, compliance and reporting, events and other needs common to all programs at site.
The value you'll bring to the team :
Maintains and updates program website, ensuring accurate representation of the program and accreditation requirements.
Coordinates with Program Director and / or Chief Residents to maintain and distribute resident rotation schedules, call schedules, clinical assignments, time off / time away, and conference schedules.
Other duties as assigned.
Manages administrative aspects of appropriate accrediting bodies.
Compiles data and reports for annual updates to accrediting bodies.
Qualifications : Bachelor's Required
2 years Work Experience Required
Keen understanding of ACGME requirements.
