Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our expanding team. The role involves both electrical and mechanical responsibilities, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of industrial equipment in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Use appropriate technical data to isolate and repair electrical problems.
• Convert amperes to watts and vice versa for both single and 3-phase electrical installations.
• Determine the correct electrical testing equipment and interpret readings to adjust, align, and repair electrical systems.
• Interpret and comply with the National Electrical Code and other electrical safety-related requirements.
• Identify malfunctions in industrial equipment and troubleshoot installations down to the component level.
• Replace defective components, align, adjust, calibrate, and repair as necessary to restore to production-ready status.
• Read, evaluate, and interpret all system technical data to assist in the proper repair and alignment of equipment systems.
• Evaluate, overhaul, and repair defective components.
• Use technical data to requisition or cross-reference mechanical components necessary for expedited repair.

Work Environment

The work is performed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to varying temperatures controlled by internal systems. Occasional outdoor work may be required. We offer both day (4am-4pm) and night (4pm-4am) shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule, with training provided on the first shift (8am-4pm, M-F).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Zanesville, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00 / hr.
