Responsibilities

Manager - Risk Management (Healthcare)

Full-Time

The Risk Manager assists the Director of PI / Risk Management in a hospital setting coordinating the loss control efforts and advising management and administration on all potential sources of loss and for making recommendations to minimize or eliminate exposure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Conducting performance audits
• Monitoring quality and risk rends
• Policy and procedure development
• Staff training

Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIRED : Bachelor's Degree in a health related field REQUIRED, mental health experience preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : Three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric facility with knowledge of hig-risk areas and / or performance improvement activities preferred. Minimum one (1) year experience directly in risk management / quality improvement in a psychiatric facility REQUIRED.

SKILLS REQUIRED : Knowledge of hospital operations, risk identification, and performance improvement. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Excel (Intermediate Level). Strong attention to detail with ability to prioritize tasks and be extremely organized.
