What You'll Do :

Monitor and control access points within the manufacturing and industrial location to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or suspicious activity.

Verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, following site-specific procedures and protocols.

Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries relating to access control policies and procedures.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents.

Report and document any security-related incidents, observations, and / or hazards encountered during patrols or while monitoring access points.

Follow all site-specific policies and procedures as outlined by Allied Universal and the client location.

Support emergency response activities as directed, assisting with evacuations and / or other procedures as needed.

Minimum Requirements :

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.

Experience in customer service is preferred.

Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
