Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,400 to $2,500 per week in Klamath Falls, OR

Drips and Titration Titration Required : Yes , RNs are required to titrate drips. Common Titratable Drips : Precedex , Insulin , Epinephrine (Epi) , Norepinephrine (Norepi) , and Propofol . Support Staff & Resources Charge Nurse : Charge Nurse is on the unit but takes patients . Hospitalist / Intensivist : Hospitalist in-house 24 / 7 . Intensivist is available by page but not in-house 24 / 7 . Respiratory Therapy (RT) : RT in ICU 24 / 7 . RT Equipment : V60s , high use of BiPAP , CPAP , and High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) . Monitoring Telemetry : Yes. Monitor Techs (MTs) : Central Monitoring Unit staffed with an MT 24 / 7, plus two additional MTs staffing the ICU and PCU 24 / 7. Strip Reading : RNs are required to read strips and verify the measurements and interpretation provided by the MT.
