Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details Location : Austin, Texas 78704 (Texas nursing jobs) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (travel nurse contract) Shift : 8 Hour Days (6 : 30 AM – 3 : 00 PM), Monday through Friday Hours per Week : 40 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1980 - $2120 Unit : Cardiac Stepdown / CVOR / Surgery Number of ORs : 14 (including 2 heart rooms) EMR : Meditech Scrub Color : Ciel Blue (provided) Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (Texas or compact state) Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, CVOR, or Surgery At least 2 years of scrub or circulating experience preferred BLS certification required Strong communication and teamwork skills Flexibility and a positive attitude Experience with robotics, neuro, ortho, or trauma is a plus Cardiac Stepdown Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in Cardiac Stepdown and surgical units Circulate and / or scrub for procedures including general, GYN, neuro, ortho, plastics, vascular, ENT, and urology Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team of RNs, techs, and anesthesia staff Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate documentation and patient care coordination Participate in call rotation as required Maintain a safe, positive environment for patients and staff Ready to take your nursing career to the next level in Austin, Texas?
