Job descriptionWorks with Showroom Warehouse Manager in hiring, training, supervising, motivating and evaluating Store Warehouse, Showroom, Clearance, Enchanted Village and Housekeeping employees Ensuring prompt and efficient receipt, storage, and delivery of merchandise Ensuring maintenance of showroom appearance and equipment Managing the shipping and receiving functions of the store warehouse and transferring of merchandise to Showroom Assisting in the formulation and communicating an action plan for the flow of merchandise to the sales floor Developing and implementing departmental systems, procedures and reordering of supplies 5-7 years of retail experience including warehouse, janitorial, and / or showroom 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a retail environment Knowledge of safety practices and OSHA laws Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Effective oral and written communication skills Must be able to solely and safely lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. Must be able to operate machinery up to heights of 35 to 40 feet Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
