Job Summary and Responsibilities CHI Lisbon Health is recruiting for an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to work in the Emergency Room. Essential Areas of Responsibility Provide care to patients of all ages - children to geriatricsEmergency Room consults, triage and medical careRound, admit and manage health needs of patients with a significant range of complex and co-morbid disease conditionsManage all inpatient care and provide prompt attention to all patients admitted to the hospital, including diagnosis, treatment, and the performance of medical procedures (within your scope of practice)Collaborate and coordinate patient care with physicians, nursing, health care personnel, and care team members for patients in the hospital and EREmploy quality and process improvement practices to make the hospital a safer place and improve patient outcomesTen (10) shifts per month is full-time. Each 24-hour shift is unrestricted call and Nurse Practitioners can expect to provide 10-12 hours onsite patient care.
