We are seeking a Parent Trainer to join our team. As a Parent Trainer, you will provide support and guidance to parents who are having difficulties managing their children's behavior. Your goal will be to empower parents with the knowledge and skills they need to improve their relationship with their children and create a more positive, successful family dynamic.

To be successful in this role, you should have extensive knowledge of child development; excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; and the ability to work independently and with teams. You should also have experience working with parents and children in a counseling or educational setting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training sessions for parents on topics such as positive parenting techniques, behavior management, and effective communication.
  • Conduct individual coaching sessions with parents to provide personalized support and assistance.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists, educators, and social workers, to develop comprehensive intervention plans.
  • Assess the needs of families and create tailored treatment plans to address specific challenges.
  • Monitor progress of families and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Document all interactions with families and maintain accurate records.
  • Stay current on new research, trends, and best practices in parenting and child development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, education or related field.
  • Experience working with parents, children, and families in a counseling or educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, behavior management, and parenting techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with teams.
  • Efficient time-management and organization abilities.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends if necessary.
