Intervention Specialist - Phoenix Center

The Intervention Specialist provides supervision and therapeutic services to adult clients of a short term crisis stabilization unit.

Responsibilities

• Supervises self-administration of medications of residents and completes required documentation.
• Completes admissions, discharges, and milieu interventions including meal preparation and cleaning tasks.
• Completes activities as per schedule.
• Monitors mental and physical status of residents.
• Completes all unit documentation including shift summaries, MAR, and group notes in a timely manner.
• Reports changes in client status and unit concerns to CSU Director / Nurse Coordinator as indicated.
• Answers telephone and provides information by phone as necessary in adherence with client confidentiality policy.
• Fosters a therapeutic environment by engaging clients in positive interaction and models healthy coping skills.
• Fosters collaborative working relationships among members of the leadership and management teams and programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
