Job Description:

Ro Health is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at a correctional facility in Silver City!

This position plays a vital role in providing essential healthcare services to incarcerated individuals, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and therapeutic environment within the facility.

Details:

• Location: Silver City, NM
• Schedule: 3 days/week, 12-hour shifts, Friday-Sunday
• Shift: Night Shift
• Employment Type: Contract
• Pay: higher pay for travelers who are 50 or more miles away from the facility!

Qualifications:

• Active New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license (in good standing) or compact license
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to pass a strict background check

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatments
• Monitor and document patients' health status and respond to medical emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Educate patients on health conditions, medication adherence, and preventive care
• Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and chronic disease management
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
• Supervise and support LVNs, CNAs, and other healthcare staff
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with facility guidelines
