Job description

ABOUT US

GI Psychology is a passionate team of telehealth clinicians delivering evidence-based, outcomes-driven psychotherapy for individuals navigating gastrointestinal disorders and other complex medical conditions.

We're not just providing access—we're raising the bar for what quality gastro psych care looks like , with measurable results , interdisciplinary collaboration, and a strong culture of training, innovation, and shared success

Our mission is to expand national access to effective gut-brain therapies . We want to reduce stigma and improve lives—one evidence-based session at a time.

THE ROLE

This opening is for a clinically intensive role for a psychologist who is energized by adapting empirically supported treatments —including CBT, clinical hypnosis, and ACT —to complex patient presentations. If you prefer less weekly hours or less clinical emphasis, ask us about our other openings.

In this role, you'll spend 75% of your time in direct clinical work (30 hours / week) and the remaining 25% engaging in consultation, training, program development, and outreach. This balance offers continual opportunities to refine your clinical skills while influencing broader systems of care.

Ideal for someone who :

  • Feels rejuvenated by meaningful, focused clinical sessions
  • Is eager to dive deep with patients and explore nuanced, integrative approaches
  • Enjoys the challenge of complex cases and evolving protocols
  • Finds fulfillment in team collaboration and shared clinical wisdom
  • Thrives in a high-trust, high-accountability culture focused on impact and integrity

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • 40-hour workweek (30 clinical, 10 training / outreach hours)
  • Weekly GIP University for advanced clinical training
  • 1 : 1 supervision, interdisciplinary consultation, and leadership coaching
  • Access to robust clinical systems that minimize admin burden
  • Pathways for advancement, specialization, and teaching
  • Starting salary
  • $150,000 / year +

    performance bonuses

    WHO YOU ARE

You are a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with PSYPACT credentials who :

  • Sees clinical work as a craft, not just a job
  • Is highly skilled and eager to be trained—in CBT, clinical hypnosis, ACT, and gastro psychology
  • Wants to work in a team culture that values mutual support, feedback, and celebrating each other's strengths
  • Is passionate about serving individuals with IBS, IBD, functional GI disorders, and mind-body health conditions
  • Enjoys being challenged, learning constantly , and evolving your expertise
  • OUR CULTURE & VALUES

At GI Psychology, we're united by three core values that shape how we show up every day :

  • Integrity – An internal drive that reliably creates excellence
  • Innovation – Growth-oriented, adaptive, and always improving
  • Interpersonal Generosity – We elevate others and prioritize shared success with healthy boundaries
  • NEXT STEPS

We are not a siloed telehealth model—we are a highly collaborative team that believes when we grow together, we deliver better care. Expect regular, meaningful connection with teammates, leadership, and external partners.
