Administrative / Technical Specialist

You will serve as an Administrative / Technical Specialist in the Simplified Acquisition Procurements Division, Contracts Department of Naval Surface Warfare Center.

Responsibilities include : handling a broader range of complex and specialized supplies and services, reviewing purchase descriptions for completeness and accuracy, consolidating similar requisitions, determining if requirements can be ordered against existing contracts, preparing orders against these contracts, drafting more complex solicitations, amendments, contracts, and contract modifications, utilizing the Electronic Procurement System (ePS), soliciting quotations from small businesses, preparing purchase award documentation, and monitoring contract performance to ensure compliance.

Requirements include : for the NT-04 pay band, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-09 / 10 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. For the NT-03 pay band, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 (GS-05 / 08 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Education may be used to substitute specialized experience.
