Description : Position Summary :

The Maintenance Mechanic maintains and repairs equipment, machinery, physical plant, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for all campus buildings. The Maintenance Mechanic works with external contractors to ensure proper operation of facilities and equipment, responds to maintenance requests promptly and provides all other assigned duties, as necessary. The successful Maintenance Mechanic candidate will possess a high standard of integrity and excellent customer services skills.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school graduate, GED or equivalent required
  • Preference will be made for candidates who possess a college degree, have two years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experiences.
  • Third-Class Boiler / Engineers License, preferred.
  • Candidate must be willing to obtain Third Class Boiler / Engineer License with 12 months of hire.
