Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager with strong expertise in oncology pharmacy services. This contract position is based in Pittsfield, MA, offering a 13-week assignment with the potential to transition to a permanent role. The role is designed for a skilled pharmacist ready to support specialized cancer care in a dynamic clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assess patient therapy for appropriateness, incorporating age-specific modifications and clinical interventions to prevent adverse drug events.
• Conduct clinical research and contribute to professional development programs.
• Act as a liaison to other departments within the Cancer and Infusion Center, providing operational support and educational services for new treatment regimens.
• Demonstrate prehensive knowledge of regulations surrounding intravenous admixtures, chemotherapy, and sterile product preparation.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel, ensuring high-quality standards.
• Oversee and maintain adequate inventory of oncology medications.
• Develop and update departmental and nursing policies.
• Collaborate with the oncology team to standardize ordering procedures for chemotherapeutic medications.
