About The Position
Multimodality Tech (CT / X-Ray) Multi-modality technologist provides quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT. Technologist must be able to effectively explain the procedures to the patient and be sure they are competent in the procedure being performed. Technologist must produce images for the interpretation, and or request of, a licensed practitioner. Shift : 3X12s 7P-730A with every 3rd weekend Weekend REQ : every 3rd weekend Is on-call REQ? NO Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Possible to float to like units Required / Preferred Years of experience REQ : 2 years First-timers accepted : NO Certifications REQ : Must be registered in both Radiography (ARRT) (R) & Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C); SCRQSA; BLS; ACLS Exp highly preferred : Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, Orthopedic exams in both modalities, siemens equipment, EPIC, PACS Radiation Badge REQ :

- (Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers) Misc. : Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions : All RTO must be included at time of submission. - Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year.
