Nights with 8 and 12-hour shifts, every third weekend rotation, and holiday rotation.
Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift

Unit Overview :
Join our dynamic 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, where you'll provide care to a diverse patient population, managing cases including :
Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Patients with hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program.A high volume of cervical and spinal surgery cases, in addition to medical overflow.This position offers exposure to advanced neurosurgical techniques as part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII).

Utilize the nursing process to assess patient needs and tailor care strategies accordingly.Recognize and respond to significant changes in patient conditions promptly.Implement patient safety strategies and foster readiness for learning with patients and families.Coordinate discharge plans through an interdisciplinary approach, applying evidence-based practices.Evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes to ensure quality care delivery.Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among healthcare team members.Promote a culture of safety by identifying and addressing risks to patient safety.Engage in professional development and contribute to the development of others.Licensure, Registration, and / or Certification Required :
Registered Nurse license in the applicable state.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.Education Required :
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.Experience Required :
At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience typically required.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
