ASCP Certified Medical Technologist (MT / MLT)

Full-Time

MLR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Technologist (MT) to join our dynamic laboratory team in Indiana! In this crucial role, you will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures that are vital for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. Your key responsibilities will include analyzing samples, interpreting results, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring precise documentation. Help us make a meaningful impact on patient care and healthcare outcomes!

Responsibilities for a Medical Technologist (MT) :

  • Perform laboratory tests on specimens such as blood, urine, and tissue samples.
  • Be knowledgeable in all areas of the lab, including Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, and Microbiology.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Accurately analyze test results and report findings to assist with clinical decisions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret data and provide clinical correlation.

Requirements for a Medical Technologist (MT / MLT) :

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
  • Certification as MT (ASCP), MLS (ASCP), CM, or MT (AMT).
  • Valid Indiana State License.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills essential for effective laboratory work.
