Respiratory Care Practitioner

The Respiratory Care Practitioner will be responsible for providing respiratory care services to patients in accordance with established standards and practices.

Correctional Setting

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic tests and treatments, such as arterial blood gas analysis, chest physiotherapy, and inhalation therapy.

• Monitor and assess patient's condition and progress.

• Provide patient and family education.

• Develop and implement patient care plans.

• Maintain patient records.

• Perform administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments and ordering supplies.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care.

• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license.

• Knowledge of respiratory care procedures and techniques.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
