Position : Loader

Scheduled : 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 4 : 30PM - end of production(plus overtime as needed)

Wage : $20.07 / hr $1.00 per hour shift differential

Job Responsibilities :

Load outbound trailers in accordance with load plans ensuring safety and weight distribution requirements are met.

Verify product quantities labels and destinations to ensure accuracy of shipments.

Operate pallet jacks forklifts or other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

Inspect trailers for cleanliness damage and proper condition prior to loading.

Secure loads using straps load bars and other safety devices as needed.

Maintain clear communication with shipping office and dock leads regarding load status and discrepancies.

Follow all company safety procedures and participate in safety training.

Keep dock area clean organized and free of debris or safety hazards.

Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned such as unloading inbound freight or staging pallets.

Follow all safety requirements

Stage and sort products for loading

Opens and closes dock doors

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas

Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets

Move materials within the warehouse

May operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts as needed

Scan freights / parts

Complies with all safety requirements

Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

Qualifications :

No prior warehouse experience required

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required

Ability to work independently customer service dealing with others multi-tasking skills organizational skills flexible excellent with numbers and time management skills required

Flexible to work overtime preferred

Regular predictable full attendance is an essential function of the job

Willingness to work the required schedule work at the specific location required
