DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Memphis, TN.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:+ Completing repair activities on generators or components+ Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner+ Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools+ Maintain detailed records of service+ Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies+ Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products+ Maintain own toolsRESPONSIBILITIESIn order to be successful in this role you will need the following:+ Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.+ High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.+ Advanced experience with electrical repair and maintenance+ Proficient Diesel Engine experience.+ Advanced troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components.+ Setup, troubleshoot and repair basic paralleling generator systems.+ Understanding switchgear schematics.+ Ability to train Entry/Intermediate Technicians/Mechanics.Compensation and Benefits Basesalary rate commensurate with experience.
