Estate Planning Attorney

Mathis, Marifian & Richter, Ltd., with offices in Belleville and Edwardsville, Illinois and Clayton, Missouri is seeking an experienced and highly motivated attorney to join its estate planning practice group. This is a shareholder track position that offers excellent opportunities for growth, a competitive salary and bonus system based upon merit and productivity.

The ideal candidate should have at least three (3) years of substantive experience, to include :

• Drafting and reviewing wills, trust, powers of attorney and other estate planning documents;
• Advising clients of tax implications related to their estate;
• Assisting in the administration of trusts and estates, including the probate process;
• Coordinating with financial advisors, accountants and other professionals involved in the estate planning process.
• Drafting business agreements, entity formation and handling basic business transactions

A J.D. degree and an Illinois or Missouri law license is required. A successful applicant must be willing to obtain the additional license if they do not already have both.
