We're looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to support and enhance our quality systems in Rochester, NY. In this critical role, you'll lead the charge on ensuring production meets the highest standards, support audits and inspections, and champion continuous improvement initiatives. You'll work cross-functionally to define quality requirements for new products, identify and mitigate risks, analyze data trends, and serve as a key quality liaison for customer accounts. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel office equipment, objects, tools, or controls. Working Conditions :
The working environment is generally clean; however, this position may be exposed to occasional dust, metals / solder occasional exposure to high noise levels from operating machines or physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts. The employee must wear designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and / or electrostatic dissipative protection where required. Otherwise, office / business casual attire, consistent with site specific safety guidelines is appropriate.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $70,000-$82,000 per year. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance based bonuses and benefits. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, location, and shift. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on the date of hire, schedule type, and hours worked.
