Travel Registered Nurse – LTAC

Location : Bristol, TN

Schedule : Night Shift | 3x12s | 36 hours / week | 13 Weeks

Shift Time : 1845 – 0715 | Every Other Weekend Required

Overview :

HumanEdge Health is hiring experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for night shift travel positions in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility located in Bristol, Tennessee . This assignment offers the chance to work with a medically complex patient population in a collaborative, team-based care environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Complete nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to form the basis of individualized care plans

Develop and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

Supervise and delegate responsibilities to LPNs, CNAs, and orientees

Educate patients and families on care procedures and discharge plans

Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely

Communicate changes in patient status with the attending physician and charge nurse

Participate in weekly team conferences and support patient rehabilitation programming

Maintain a safe care environment by following infection control, fall prevention, and patient handling protocols

Provide leadership and guidance to ancillary staff and foster a positive team environment

Report and assist in resolving supply, equipment, or training needs to ensure quality patient care

Assume charge nurse duties as assigned after appropriate orientation

Engage in continuous learning and professional growth

Requirements :

Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state

Minimum of 1 year recent experience in LTAC, step-down, or med / surg

BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Comfortable working night shifts and every other weekend
