What you'll achieve

As a Senior Consultant on the Strategy & Research team, you will build a perspective for the Business Unit on market, customer, and industry trends that are fundamentally disrupting our business and the world. You will partner closely with the executives and technologists in the business to set the agenda on these topics, prioritize the most important topics to the business, and accelerate business outcomes.

You will :

Tackle complex, ambiguous business and technology challenges with structured thinking and creative problem-solving

Lead strategic research initiatives in emerging technologies such as AI / ML, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure

Develop business cases for new growth areas, including product innovation, partnerships, and M&A opportunities

Monitor industry trends and maintain a forward-looking perspective on technology and market evolution

Contribute to thought leadership and strategic planning processes across the organization

Essential Requirements

10–15+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, product development, or business research within the technology sector

Deep understanding of enterprise technology domains such as infrastructure, software, data platforms, and AI / ML

Proven ability to synthesize complex information and communicate clearly to executive audiences

Strong analytical skills with experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies

Demonstrated success in influencing senior stakeholders and driving cross-functional alignment

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degrees in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Familiarity with enterprise IT ecosystems and emerging tech trends (e.g., edge computing, data security, cloud-native architecture)

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $205,700 - $266,200.
