Collections Specialist

Position Summary

Focused on helping achieve the Finance Shared Services mission of serving the business accurately, efficiently, and politely with the vision to operate silently in the background so the business can maximize profitability. This is accomplished by reviewing the accounts receivable aging for assigned customers, proactively contacting them to understand why past due balances exist and noting billing errors that require resolution to timely payment.

Essential Job Functions :

• Reviewing open accounts for collection efforts using multiple tools and ERP's
• Communications (verbal and written) to customers to;

Collect payment of delinquent accounts

Qualifications

Education : High school diploma

Experience : Minimum 2 years in of corporate business to business collections experience including interaction with a large customer base.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :

Physical Requirements : Ability to lift up to 25 pounds is required.

Work Conditions : Generally, work in an office environment. No travel is expected.
