About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of providing life-changing spinal surgeries to underserved children worldwide. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the organization, including fundraising, program management, financial oversight, and partnership development. This role demands a mission-driven leader with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, capable of managing all aspects of the nonprofit's operations and guiding it through a period of growth and global health impact. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors, oversee the implementation of approved goals and plans, and ensure the organization's compliance and transparency. Key responsibilities also include driving diversified fundraising strategies, managing a sustainable annual revenue of $1M+, and fostering relationships with global health partners, corporate sponsors, and the public.
Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have 5-10+ years' of nonprofit or mission-driven leadership experience, with a proven track record of raising significant funds. A background in global health, humanitarian, or medical / surgical organizations is ideal. The role requires excellent cross-cultural communication skills, global fluency, and a willingness to travel. A clinical or public health background, familiarity with financial management tools, and existing relationships in the relevant sectors are preferred. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, results-oriented leader, with a strong focus on mission, and possess the attributes of being an excellent communicator, a strong relationship builder, and a resilient, adaptable individual.
