Workers Comp Case Manager - Burbank, CA
As a Case Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing workers' compensation cases from intake to settlement. This position involves regular client communication, case file organization, and coordination of medical treatment, as well as preparation of legal documents.
Responsibilities :
- Process new files from Intake
- Assist handling attorney from the beginning of a case to settlement
- Act as first contact to applicant, insurance, and medicals on case
- File and serve Workers' Compensation documents
- Manage applicants’ treatment including obtaining medical records, scheduling medical appointments, requesting doctor panels, scheduling AME / PQMEs
- Prepare Pre-Trial Conference Statements, settlement documents, and Trial exhibits in advance of hearings and depositions as applicable
- Keep applicants up to date on the status of their case
- Be able to handle 100–150 files at a time
- Organize case files for the team
Requirements :
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in workers’ compensation or personal injury case management preferredFamiliarity with California Workers’ Compensation procedures and terminologyStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage 100–150 active filesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software (PCLaw experience is a plus)Strong multitasking skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environmentReliable, punctual, and detail-orientedBilingual in Spanish is REQUIREDHigh school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or paralegal certificate is a plusBenefits :
