Epic Integration & BI Manager (Remote)

Overview

We are seeking a technical leader to manage Epic interface development and business intelligence initiatives. This role focuses on system integration interoperability and analytics strategy. You will lead a team to ensure seamless data exchange and optimized reporting across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee development testing deployment and maintenance of Epic Bridges interfaces and HL7 / FHIR-based integrations.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Epic Bridges analysts ensuring best practices in interface development.
  • Supervise design configuration and maintenance of data interfaces for reliable performance.
  • Facilitate data exchange between Epic and external applications using HL7 FHIR and APIs.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to meet integration and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance security and regulatory standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations.
  • Drive system upgrades workflow optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation SOPs and change control processes for supported systems.

Lead business intelligence efforts including dashboards reports and data extracts within Epic

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Expertise in Epic Bridges HL7 FHIR and interface engine technologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL data warehousing and data modeling.
  • Experience with Epic Cogito tools (Clarity Caboodle Reporting Workbench).
  • Familiarity with reporting tools (Crystal Reports Power BI).
  • Prior experience in healthcare IT environments.
  • Epic certifications preferred.

    • Work Environment & Travel

  • Remote position with moderate travel (up to 30%).
  • Standard office environment; occasional exposure to hospital settings.
