Schedule Night shift, 3x12-hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15). Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide critical care to patients on the Neurosurgical / Medical unit. The role involves monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care. Neuro experience is preferred, particularly with patients undergoing pre / post-neurosurgery and those with cerebrovascular accidents (CVA). Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments and develop individual care plans. Administer IV medications and manage insulin protocols. Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies. Perform wound care and manage surgical drains. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care. Float to other units as needed, ensuring versatile care delivery. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical surgical or neurosciences unit. BLS and NIHSS certifications are required; ACLS and CPI are preferred. Experience with Epic charting system is preferred. Charge experience is preferred. Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty. Why ARMStaffing?
